Girls Football

Girls football competition today at 1pm in Prescot Soccer Centre. Parents are allowed to watch but spaces are limited.

Boccia Competition

Stay posted to meet our Boccia team. They are going to a competition this Monday!

Unfortunately, the Boccia competition has been postponed due to the venue being unavailable. We will keep you posted with new dates and times!

Basketball Competition

Well done to the Year 5 basketball team, who represented St. Columba’s in St Edmund Arrowsmith this afternoon. They worked well as a team and were always perfectly behaved.

After School Clubs

The after school clubs this half term are as follows –

Tuesday – 3:15 – 4:15 – Year 3 and 4 Gymnastics with Miss Wilson

Wednesday – 3:15 – 4:15 – Year 5 and 6 Girls Football with Dominic and Mr Liam

Both of these clubs are in preparation for competitions and children must attend if they wish to be selected for the team.

Ask Mrs Lewis or Mr Liam for a letter if you wish to attend.

Silver Kite Mark Award

We can start the new year by proudly displaying our latest award. We recently applied for the Sainsbury’s School Games Kitemark Award. Our target was to gain the Bronze Award but as a result of all of our wonderful sporty children and our dedicated staff, we exceeded our target and were awarded the Silver Award. What an achievement!

Year 2 Everton Football

The Year 2 team had lots of fun at the Everton Tournament. They proudly showed off their certificates! Well done boys for flying the flag for St. Columba’s and doing us proud!
